Visitor Tag Logging
A new purpose-built workflow for managing temporary tag access for visitors, contractors, and other non-permanent personnel.- Quick check-in — Select or create a visitor record, assign a tag, and check them in with a single click
- Check-out — Active visitor sessions are shown at the top of the Visitor Log page. Check a visitor out when they leave to record the departure time
- Session history — Full audit trail of past sessions: who visited, which tag, arrival and departure times, and who performed each action
- Safety event tracking — Open any session to see all incursions recorded by that tag during the visit window
Assets Management
People and machines are now managed independently from the IoT devices tracking them.- People Assets — New admin page for managing personnel records (staff and visitors) with name, employee ID, email, company, and archive/restore
- Machine Assets — New admin page for managing vehicles and equipment with serial number, manufacturer, year, number plate, and archive/restore
- Flexible assignments — Link any person or machine to one or more devices. Reassign a tag from one operator to another without losing either person’s history
Tester Device API
Field tester devices can now connect directly to SensorZone to manage tag assignments and visitor sessions.- Authenticate using a per-device API token generated from the admin panel
- Assign and unassign tags to people in the field
- Automatically create visitor check-in sessions when a visitor tag is assigned
- Check out visitors when they return their tag

- Streaming health monitoring — New health check endpoint verifies the real-time data pipeline is processing messages end-to-end
- Improved connection resilience — The real-time message consumer now detects and recovers from silent disconnections, stuck connections, and thread failures automatically
