This guide walks you through your first login and helps you find your way around the platform.

Step 1: Log in

Navigate to your SensorZone instance (e.g., https://platform.sensorzone.io) and sign in with the credentials provided by your administrator.
If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), click the SSO button on the login page to authenticate through your identity provider.

Step 2: Explore the Overview dashboard

After logging in, you land on the Overview page. This is your safety command center. Here you’ll see:
  • Total incursions for the selected time period
  • Acknowledged vs. unacknowledged breakdown
  • Active tags and machines counts
  • Incursions per machine runtime hour — a key safety KPI
  • Charts showing trends over time and comparisons across projects and sites
Use the filters at the top to narrow data by project, worksite, date range, and acknowledgment status.

Step 3: Check your people and machines

Navigate to the People page to see all tags (wearable devices) and the personnel they’re assigned to. Each person’s row shows their incursion counts, last test date, and activity status. Navigate to the Machines page to see all base stations (PWS units) installed on your fleet. Each machine shows incursion totals, runtime hours, and connectivity status.

Step 4: View a worksite on the map

Go to the Sites page to see all your worksites plotted on a map. Click any site to view its boundaries, assigned project, and configuration. You can also visit the Heat Map page to see a geographic overlay of where incursions are concentrated.

Step 5: Generate your first report

  1. Navigate to Reports
  2. Click New Report
  3. Select a date range, project, and sites
  4. Click Generate
  5. Once ready, download the report as PDF or CSV
Reports are processed in the background — you’ll see the status change from “Processing” to “Ready.”
